Jumping Longines Crans-Montana 2018

After a breathtaking competition, Wouter Devos (BEL) won the Grand Prix Longines in Crans-Montana with Tonik Hero. He was followed by Nicolas Deseuzes (FRA) with Quilane de Lezeaux on the second and Niklaus Rutschi (SUI) with Carassina on the third place. The winner received an elegant Longines watch.

The watch brand took the occasion to support JustWorld International through the Clear The Jump action. Each time a rider and his horse cross the Longines triple obstacle clear, the equivalent of 200 meals was offered to the association, which aims to lift children out of poverty. Thanks to this campaign, Longines has helped to offer 5000 meals for the benefit of the JustWorld International Foundation.

This year again, the world-class riders have been gathering in Crans-Montana to compete in various exciting show-jumping competitions. The Swiss watch brand is proud to support the Jumping Longines of Crans-Montana as Official Partner and Timekeeper for the third consecutive year.

The Official Watch of this year’s Jumping Longines of Crans-Montana was an elegant model from the Record collection. Every single model is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

The brand is proud of its involvement in equestrian sports, which dates back to 1878 when it produced a chronograph engraved with a jockey and his horse. In addition, the Swiss watch brand has been partnering with show jumping events since 1912. Today, Longines' commitment to equestrian sports includes - besides show-jumping - flat-racing, eventing, endurance, dressage and driving competitions.

Longines becomes the Title Partner of Equita Longines, le Salon du Cheval de Lyon

Longines is proud to announce its association as the Title Partner of Equita Longines, le Salon du Cheval de Lyon, of which it has been the Official Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch since 2013. This event will take place from 31 October to 4 November as the biggest annual equestrian gathering in Europe. It will be held over five days of national and international competitions, comprising several disciplines, and will notably host the FEI World Cup’s dressage, driving and jumping stages.

Indeed, the winged hourglass brand is delighted to present the weekend’s highlight show jumping trials, the Longines Grand Prix, on Friday and the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™, on Sunday, to which Longines is looking forward to providing its timekeeping expertise. The Friday’s trial will bring together fifty top-level rider/horse couples, offering the spectators outstanding performance and achievement at the highest level of sport. The best pair will advance into the jump-off and must be the fastest to win the class. The Sunday’s trial will bring the world’s best forty rider/horse couples. Longines is the Official Partner, the Official Timekeeper and the Official Watch of international institutions, events, races and competitions. Tradition, Elegance and Performance are values that both equestrian sports and Longines share, which strengthen the profound bounds that the brand has been developing with the equestrian world for more than half a century.

Longines Global Champions Tour - Parigi
